3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to tom for this. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white ring that quickly disappears. Aroma is wheat and sweet apricots and honey. Taste is punchy apricot and bitterness. Definite wheat presence.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow body with a one finger frothy white head that had decent retention. The nose is bursting with apricot aromas, makes me wonder if they used real fruit for this. Beyond the fruit there’s not much else. The flavor is pretty nice though, tastes pretty authentic, lots of apricot fruit with a light base of wheat ale. Finishes with some lingering apricot notes. Light bodied and lacking in a whole lot of sweetness thankfully. Overall it’s not bad, but pretty simplistic.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a quickly dissipating head. The aroma has a nice apricot smell and a flowery taste. I didn’t get much wheat flavor in this beer- it was very mild. Decent overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Best before September 2012.
A: This pours a slightly hazy golden body with slow moving carbonation up to a very thin white head that almost quickly disappears. Pretty sub-par.
S: The difference in aroma between this and Pyramid’s Apricot Ale is like day and night. Apricot Wheat has a real apricot aroma that smells fresh and mildly sweet, compared to Pyramid’s which was artificial through and through. This smells good if you like apricots, which I assume you do if you bought this.
T: This is a basic wheat ale with a nice apricot tinge to it. The wheat gives this a clean base for the apricot to give it’s sweet and mildly tart flavor to. this is what you expect from the name.
M: Light crisp body, goes down very easily.
O: This is what you’re expecting going into it, nothing more nothing less. It’s a nice refreshing beer for a warm day.

Aroma of apricot. Rather sweet. Pours murky orange. Taste has apricot, heavy yeast and slight wheat tones. Mouthfeel is light and tangy. Not bad but kind of sweet.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This poured clear light orange color with a white head. Aroma was light yeast and a good bit of apricot. Flavor was apricot and light spice and yeast notes. Would be better if it wasnt so watery.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft @ Yard House, Boston- Fenway. Served in pint. Clear golden/ amber color. Light Co2. Nose is all apricot. Wheat is overpowered by apricot sweetness but it is there. Light malt is also hiding under the fruit sweetness. Sticky, syrupy texture. You better like apricot to order this. I was done after one pint. Doubtful if I would order again. Just a simple fruit beer.
