COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

12 oz bottle; poured a light straw colour with a medium head that disappeared while large anxious bubbles streamed to the top. Aroma is light apricot (maybe more than light...it reminded me of taking the top off of my grandmother’s homemade apricot jam jar). Sweet malt undertones but it’s all apricot. I am concerned that it might be synthetic flavour or something else but the commercial descritption attests otherwise. Flavour is a tangy wheat with just the lightest of apricot at the tail end of it. It’s rather soft. It’s nice and not overpowering. Fruit beers really aren’t my thing but this is alright.

Upstate NY still rocking the 1990s beers I see. Cloudy tan with no head. The aroma and colour have an apricot bent, definitely syrup or essence. Fairly clean, and it doesn’t really go with the golden ale base, but it’s far from awful.

Poured from a bottle into a fluted pilsner glass. Somewhat hazy gold with a white head of foam that starts large, but ends thin. Aroma is sweetly fruity with an obvious peachy persuasion. The grainy, wheat keeps this one in check from being too sweet. Oddly enough, it tastes very watered down with just a hint of the apricots and a more pronounced wheat influence. A tad thin for my liking. A little spritz would do this beer well.

On tap at distrito cantina. Pours a golden haze. Medium to large head, aromas of apricot guts, peaches, cantoupes, watermellon candy. Taste is the same with notes of vanilla, sugar red watermelon, hops, blueberries, peach, nice caramel malts. Such a great beer for mexican fare. Refreshing, well carbonated, drank ice cold. Very underrated in my opinion.

Notes only. Tap @ Edison Ale house outside the Prudential center in New jersey. Light, fruity. Aroma and taste are mildly apricot, minimal yeastiness, some wheat. No hop presence, but a great summer brew.

2012-04-28. Lightly hazy golden orange, small white head. Strong candyish aroma of apricot, sort of perfumey. Flavour is similar, quite sweet, apricot, tart wheaty bite underneath. Smooth average palate is fairly carbonated. Not great, the apricot flavour is really not to my liking. Bottle purchased from Premier Gourmet a couple months ago.

Bottle. Pours a dark golden color. I cannot define the head, because it was gone before I could finish pouring. Very weak character. The aroma was the best part, but that’s not saying much. Strong apricot nose, but resembled the artificial flavoring found in soft drinks. Some wheat character as well, but very weak. Flavor was mostly estery apricot, with watery character. Very watery palate. Slightly malty finish, but it lingers mostly with fruit, apricot, and water.

[4405-20120428] 355mL bottle. Pungently apricot skins aroma has sweetly creamy notes. Slightly hazy, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy apricot fruit flavour is sweet and borderline sickly. Medium body. Would be up for re-rating a fresher sample but am doubtful it would differ more than a point or two. (4/2/4/3/8) 2.1

Bottle thx marsonthemoon. Apricot orange, filtered look but has a healthy haze not fully opaque. Aroma of intense apricot meat, smells like a Bellini. Sweet and thin lacking the complexity of full fruit (no skin or pits depth at all). The underlying beer is also thin and super light. wimpy beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice clear yellow gold with an ephemeral head. Aroma contains a lot of apricot (not quite overpowering, but close) with some blander notes of wheat in the background. Taste is overpowered by sweetness, apricot and a note of elder flower. It is hard to detect other flavors, but there is some wheat, light malt, and maybe a little honey. Medium palate -- not very light/thin due, it seems, largely to the apricot essence. Could be a bit more effervescent. Overall, doesn’t taste acrid or anything, but it could certainly use a better balance scheme.
