argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Aug 6, 2006 (draft) White head atop clear straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, apricot, some honey. Taste is medium sweet, apricot, light banana. Light body with light stickiness. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 22, 2007 Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet sugary apricots and a touch of pale malt. Body starts effervescent and semi-sweet with an earthy, citric apricot flavor and finishes thinner, drier and slightly buttery. Needs a fuller, sweeter body. hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 2, 2006 12oz bottle. Poured a light to medium and hazy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of mainly strong apricots. Tastes of lighter apricots, wheat, and fruity. Medium sweet with a thin body. hopscotch (4433), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 6, 2007 Bottle… Mostly clear, golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Lots of apricot and pale grain in the aroma. The fruity, buttery flavor tips toward the sweet side of balance. Light to medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. More sweet apricot and buttery diacetyl in the lengthy finish. Spent grain taste at the very end. Cheers to growler for splitting his bottle with me!
