Surprised by this; didn’t care for many apricot wheats before. Good aroma; taste is great; had both bottle and tap. Very smooth and creamy, like the old Celis White had been. Leaves you wanting a lot more.

Tap @ brewery. Golden appearance with a cream colored head. A touch tart, unmalted wheat-like, citrusy, peach, apricot aroma. Well balanced, fairly fruity, apricot, peach, wheat malty flavor. Great brew.

Aroma: bread, hay, floral, citrus, herbs, earthy, banana, subtle apricot notes
Appearence: golden, orange, hazy, white foam, frothy,
Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter, apricot is a subtle accent.
Palate: light body, lively, long/clean finish,
Overall: An easy drinking beer. The first one may seem a bit sweet but the more you become accusstomed to the apricot it is only a subtle sweetness. Like this one!

Not sure what these folks are thinking. with only a 2.7 out of 5. Color is golden with minimal head. Aroma is guess what-apricot. Apricot overwhelms the flavor but I am not an apricot eater but the mix is unique and refreshing. toasty maltiness at the end

Slightly hazy orange colour, and a fantastic apricot aroma. Very wheaty and very apricoty...if you buy the beer, because it sounds great, you'll love it! It handles its job as being an apricot wheat tremendously!

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2011 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a small beige head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was strong sweet apricot and peach. The flavor was tangy with strong sweet apricot, peach, sugar and apricot pits. The finish was very long sweet tangy apricot and peach. Medium body. Very nice.

Delicious aroma and flavor of apricots, without that awful aftertaste some wheat beers tack on. The guy at the bottle shop said that this was the best apricot wheat he had tried, so we took him for it and it’s one of the better ones I’ve had.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2003 Got this in a Growler at MacGreggors in Rochester. Ron, try it there, though Im surprised you didnt like it from 'beers of the world' they usually keep their beers fairly fresh and put the ones that are getting old on special. I love this beer in a growler. Fresh apricot taste with a medium bodied wheat beer. quite simple for what it is.

Aroma is intense with Apricot, which is not surprising. The color is a golden yellow with an active frothy head. The flavor starts very sweet from the malt and the apricot but then quickly turns a bit grainy in a good way with more of the sourness of the apricots coming through mixed with a subtle hop spiciness.

Notes only. Tap @ Edison Ale house outside the Prudential center in New jersey. Light, fruity. Aroma and taste are mildly apricot, minimal yeastiness, some wheat. No hop presence, but a great summer brew.
