Commercial Description:
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow/gold with a white head. The beer is filtered, so much of the aroma and flavor associated with a typical wheat beer is not present in this brew. This beer has a pleasant aroma of fresh apricots. The apricots also come through in the flavor. Very easy to drink. A nice summer beer.

Draft at Brewery. Poured a clear golden yellow in color with a large white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, (peach and apricot) and a little wheat. Taste is almost tart at first with apricot fruit and a little wheat. Not much to it, but it is quite refreshing and very drinkable.

12oz bottle. slightly hazy, peach colored. Heavy aroma of sweet apricot juice. Flavor of malted wheat, some apricot flavors in the finish, like a dried fruit essence. Medium bodied, light finish.

At the risk of being made fun of, I actually like this beer. Apricot aroma almost overwhelms, body is fuller than you would expect, and a really nice unbalanced fruit flavor. I think this beer has its place in the summertime.

I enjoyed this one. Highly drinkable with light carbonation. The apricot flavor goes really well with the wheat taste. Lacking complexity though. Wheaty and fruity taste with no hop character.

Had this beer on draft at Mad Mex in Robinson. Nice golden color, good head, Apricot quite prominant, not just a hint as reported by Brewer. A little sweet but it finshes clean and would be a good drink for the purpose.

2009 Bottle - Thanks beerbill! - Pours cloudy dk yellow with a massive creme head...aroma is sweet apricot, with more apricot, and a bit of biscuit...flavour is, I don’t know yet, still waiting for the head to subside...there it goes, flavour is fruity malt, lemony and pineapple, doughy grain, nicely citric on the end and never really tastes artificial, I found this enjoyable...

Hazy golden orange pour, thin almost not existent head. yeasty, with a very fresh sweet apricot aroma. Taste is very similar. The yeast and fruity apricot at front that holds out to a little fruity spice at the finish. Very easily drinkable and refreshing great in the warm weather. A reliable pleasure of mine.
