DandyWolfFloyd (209), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 28, 2008 Although this is not the best beer I’ve had it certaintly isn’t bad, it is interesting because it’s totally different. It’s aroma is just right, with an adequate bouqet of apricot. It’s appearance is rather blah, with a light amber color, and rather tiny head. It’s flavor is more like a carbonated soda, than beer, but it does have that beer charachter. It’s palate is smooth. It’s ok, a nice break up from the serious brews.
HighlanderOne (444), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA Aug 7, 2008 Poured from bottle 8/2008 (sampler 12 pack). Clear lager appearance. Thin white head persists. Smells just like dried apricot. Crisp, clean feel, apricot in aftertaste. Easy drinking, finished well. Surprisingly good. CaptainCaveman (3), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Aug 6, 2008 Not too bad. If you are looking for a fruity beer you may want to try others first, however I definitely wouldnt complain about having it again. Light clear amber color with slight apricot fragrance, not over powering at all. One complaint is there was a little too much carbonation for my likes. DocLock (4075), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 Gold colored with off-white head. Nose is pale malt, citrus, apricot, peach. Tastes pale malty with a fresh apricot flavor and some citrus and hops toward the back end. A bit light on palate heft, but refreshing on a hot day. alexkeil (14), USA Jul 3, 2008 Good beer for when you really want something different. You really have to have a taste for sweet beers and especially apricot flavor - if not, don’t even bother with this beer. It has a beautiful golden color, fluffy white head that dissipated quickly, powerful aroma of apricot with matching flavor, the aftertaste can be pretty lasting. bp (270), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2008 Bottle: pours a yellow color with just a little cloudiness, aroma of apricots, kinda smells like gummy candy too, taste is pretty bland and watery, much too weak for me.
