PilsnerPeter (1524), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 13, 2008 G.A.B.F. 2008: Hazy light golden with a creamy white head. Very citric nose- smells very grapefruity with rind character. Fluffy feel with a bright citrusy flavor. Not much funk, but it’s crisp with a ton of grapefruit, lemon juice, mild oak and dried wood earthiness. Fairly clean, and not very complex, but refreshing and tasty. scraff (1672), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Oct 12, 2008 Soft hazed gold, white creamy head. Super funked sour lemon aromas rest on waves of citrus and oak. Acidic juicy sour citrus flavors balance very well on funky wood-like tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sour finish. Awesome… JK (2501), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Sep 14, 2008 Cloudy gold color. Brett aroma and more in the flavor. Just a little sour, more like a saison. This is good; the corn is perceivable and works in this beer. Medium palate. Miver (443), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 12, 2008 750ml bottle. I actually tried at BCTC and had to buy a case of this gem. Poured hazy/ murky gold in color with a medium sized fizzy white head that quickly diminished. Aroma of brett funk with lots of citrus fruit. Tastes of grapefruit and lemon citrus, with a brett funkiness. A little acidic, but champagne yeast leaves a wonderful mouth feel and nice dry finish. Many characteristics of a very dry white wine. Outstanding. hopdog (4657), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 12, 2008 Updated: Sep 23, 2008Sampled from 750ml bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of brett, fruity, wood, and floral. Tastes of some frunkiness, brett, fruity, vanilla, and wood.
