Aroma of cascade hops, caramel malt and sweet pine. Taste is hoppy with hints of sweet pine, caramel and a floral finish. Nice IPA. MrBendo (1039), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Aug 14, 2007 Bottle. Ruby color with a small head. Aroma of caramel malts and citrus and pine hops. Very balanced taste; and it has a pretty good, fruity/IPA flavor. But it’s a bit thin. Dry finish. A lot of the elements are there, but the thin texture keeps this from rating higher. MrBunn (1523), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2007 Bottle. Pour is a reddish brown and aromas are definitely Cascade hops based. Pine and grapefruit dominate, but there is a bit of a malt sweetness underlying. Flavor shows an unbalance... there is not enough of a malt structure to support that much hops and it comes off as lopsided. Then again, if you want a hops drink, this is for you. BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Aug 10, 2007 cascazilla the mind thrilla! very nice red ale. caramel colored bit creamy and moderately aggressive on the hops. nice malt base that is woody. a little grapefruit and tropical fruit punch like flavors. hop heads (like me) will like this! mild carbonation and alcohol indistinct. egajdzis (3602), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 6, 2007 Poured a clear copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, pine, floral hops, with a bit of bread, and caramel malts. Taste of caramel malts, with some citrus, tropical fruits, and a bitter, dry, grapefruit finish. michael-pollack (2606), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2007 12oz. Bottle: Aroma is a bit earthy and medium bitter. Smells of hops, fresh cut grass, and Cascade hops. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that diminished at a medium pace. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium bitter. Tastes of Cascade hops, fresh cut grass, seaweed, funk,
Light to medium body. Watery, but dry texture. Average carbonation. Funky, grassy, skunky bitter finish. Overall, not the best IPA. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 1, 2007 Bottle sampled from Capones. Pours amber/copper with a decent size off-white head.
