Hoppy aroma with a fair amount of citrus and pine, not as big as I was anticipating. Caramel and bread malt flavors backed by a crisp hop profile. Solid but came off more of a pale ale, I was expecting more hops in the nose and flavor considering it claims to be "monstrously hopped". CUJO (346), Brooklyn, New York, USA

But I always try to be fair... Honestly not the best I’ve had. Pours a light red, darker than I expected. Aroma is the hoppiness that I did expect. Taste? HOPS, lot’s of bitter hops. Very little balance to this beer, again not my favorite. alexsdad06 (1080), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Jungle Jim’s. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a sizable fluffy dirty beige head that leaves thick patchy lace. The aroma is hoppy with the emphasis being citrus and floral along with a sweeter caramel malt. The flavor has a nice malt base that is a combination of caramel and bread. The hops are more grassy and moderately bitter with only light citrus coming through. Medium mouthfeel, sessionable brew. I think from the nose I was expecting a different beer than what I tasted. Not bad, just different. JaBier (1212), Capital City, Ohio, USA
