| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Pours a horrible mud puddle of a copper color. No head. No lacing. Aroma is almost nonexistent. Taste is "dirty" like earthy. Some sweetness. Bitterness like it wasn’t thought out but just there because the hops were an afterthought. Very disappointing.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Amber with a thin white head. Balanced nose of fresh pine and biscuit. Flavor is similar with earthy pine, biscuit, and some sweet orange. Thin and salty but very balanced and rather enjoyable, particularly as the fresh hop is allowed to shine in comparison to the balanced malt. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

very nice fruity and floral hop flavor, cascade hops very noticeable as a sweet orange/citrus flavor but not citrus-seed-bitter, the most drinkable very-cascade-hoppy beer i’ve had at 250 ratings. dmac (1510), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a deep red with a foamy light beige head. Aroma was lots of caramel, oranges, slight hint of chocolate and grapefruit. The flavor is sweeter then the aroma implies with lots of caramel and slight chocolate, lots of citrus including rinds and grainy bread crusts. Solid beer but this is supposed to be an IPA, seemed more like a hoppy red to me. pete4999 (170), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Bottle. Great looking mahogany pour with a foamy white head. After drinking it right after a Flower Power, it really doesn’t hold up, IMO. It’s not as hoppy, not as tasty. Malty smell - nutty, maybe even some fruits...banana? It goes down smooth, but isn’t as hoppy as advertised, I don’t think. RickTStiles (64), New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 27, 2009 On tap at Tavern 58, Rochester, NY. Pours clear amber with a medium head and characteristic IPA lacing. Aroma is light but pleasantly hoppy. Taste is hops and apricot. Nice body but not much finish. Solid IPA but not my favorite. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2009 This is one beautiful beer. The pour is hazy red with a thick, chunky, lingering head. The aroma is malt with some hops. The flavor is very good with malt, spice, caramel, and the finish is floral hops. This beer is tasty, sweetness with the malt and a great amount of flavor and finishing hops. I am really digging the hopped up reds that have come out lately, and this no doubt is a good one.
