Hop and fruit aromas. Bronze coloured strong in alcohol very hoppy and fruity with a slightly bitter finish. Rastacouere (5552), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 12, 2006 Clear orange coloured beer topped by a white cover that mostly lasts. Efficiently extracted malt base with a good crystal backbone offers a competent juicy, fruity base for the hops to thrive on. Full-on cascade reminds of a shaper St-Ambroise with dominant citrus fruits and resinous flavors. Enough malt to stand up to the hops, so this remains a solid American IPA, besides the ridiculously childish label. Light-bodied, aromatic, highly drinkable and juicy. hopdog (5535), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 18, 2006 12oz bottle. Poured a deep and see through orange color (with a reddish tint to it) with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and caramel. Tastes of oranges, light pine, light caramel with a grapefruit finish. hopscotch (5444), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Mar 4, 2006 Bottle... Clear, copper ale with orange highlights. Small, fizzy, off-white head. Decent retention. The nose is of pure, fresh, cascade hops. Nothing intricate or complex, but what’s not to like? Tons of grapefruit and light pine. The flavor is medium bitter and a touch salty. Nice, but a little thin. Light to medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes bitter and dry. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 10, 2007 (Bottle, BB May 07) Pours a clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted oats, and nuts. Flavor of caramel malt, nuts, and hops; quite malty for an IPA. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Oct 21, 2008 Bottle we sneaked into quinns thanks to Ang. Alround rating: Loads of caramalt, citrusy balancing hops. But on the thin side and i was expecting more.
