12oz bottle from ABC Beer Co poured into tulip. Had it on rooftop yesterday with Tommy, Erica, Anthony F. Pours darker than expected, a deep rust. Head is creamy and minimal. Nose is a little lacking - small aromas of malt/Belgian yeast. Flavor isn’t packed with Belgian yeast which is good to me. Easy drinker with earthy hop notes, moderate Belgian yeast and a smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Didn’t love it but could drink again.

Pours a dark orange/red (auburn? need to learn my technical colors!) with a boozy head. Aromas of fruity hops, coriander, slight bubblegum, light caramel and slight toffee. The Belgian side comes through more strongly than the amber side. Flavors of caramel, slight smoke, light toffee, and light fruity/grassy hops behind. Leaves a light smoky aftertaste. Lightly bitter and sweet. Wow I just didn’t expect the flavors judging from the aromas! You fooled me Ithaca you fooled me! Or maybe, I’m the fool....

Reddish copper with a light tan head. Malty, spicy, slightly bitter. Trailing and lingering finish.

Ithaca Cold Front poured a caramel color with almost no head and no lacing. I expected frothy and creamy and when I saw it I checked and saw the freshness date was close but not past. Look is cloudy with a a thin ring and spotty lacing. Nose is bready, malty, a bit of Belgian yeast and nutty. Taste was terrible. Like stale peanuts that came out of a tin can. Stale, flat, metallic. Had a little resin and hop bitterness but the flavors were dead. Alcohol was right up front on the palate. I rated it as high as I did because of the fact that in the 6 pack 1 or 2 of the bottles were just slightly better than this. It has potential.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Tulip. Hazy dark amber pour with a large tan head. Quite full bodied for a Belgium ale, though the grainy fullness muffles a lot of subtle flavors. Some spicy red fruits hiding somewhere in there but the mix here shuts them out. Molasses towards the top but finishes muted and dry.

Pours amber, small tan head. Smells like malts, spice, resembles a belgian ale. Taste malty, a little spice and caramel. light body. malty after taste.

12 oz bottle Whole Foods. Deep red-brown; one-finger head dissipates into a trace of a ring; no lacing. Aroma and flavor of dark sugar, dark fruit, nuts, toast. Light bitterness in the finish. Medium body, granular yet somehow fizzy. Decent beer; I’d like it to be a little "brighter" since this seems pretty dark and dank.

amber/brown pour, spice hop aroma. Average carbonation, nice balanced brew, spice, even candy like begining, medium body, slight bitter finsh. Along the typical flavors of Belgian style, amber tast mekes this a pretty good one.

Pours deep amber with off white head. Aroma is spicy, toast, nuts and roasty. Taste is sweet with some light bitters on the finish. Medium bodied, smooth texture. Very enjoyable.

12oz bottle. Minimal off-white head atop clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel/bread, some orange. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, caramel/bread. Light-medium body, light stickiness.
