Tap, pours a dark copper to medium brown, aroma is spicy and flavour is as well, it was a bit light on the spices and it finished with kind of strong ale like flavour, it was fairly thick and not too smooth, overall it was an okay offering

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a thin white head, aroma is sweet with spices and a little bit of sweet malt, the flavor is heavy spice on the front end with a smooth finish, nothing jumps out and says its crazy good but not bad.

ROGUE (2086) - Newark, Delaware, USA - OCT 6, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a tight short white head. The aroma is of the pumpkin pie spices; cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and light clove, allspice. Taste has caramel malt sweetness upfront followed by the flavors of the pumpkin and the pumpkin pie spices of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. There is a very light bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

Its the spicy type of pumpkin ale, loads of nutmeg in the nose. Plenty of spice, zest and zing in the palate too. Very fresh tasting and tasty.

On draft at Bacchus, following a nice spin along the Walkill Valley Rail Trail. I recommend both the trail and stopping in at Bacchus. Lots of clove (or is that allspice? I don’t see clove in the description) plus some cinnamon and pumpkin. Nicely balanced, and one of the better pumpkin brews imo.
