I enjoyed this a lot. It did not have any banana or fruit characteristics and was a bit sour and bland/bitter. Very nice change from the normal weisse.

Poured a clear yellowish color with aromas of grain, cereal, light tart wheat and some lemon. Flavors were gritty wheat and some tart lemon not overly tart but enough, a decent base Berlin could only see their berliners getting better as they brew them more.

[6689-20140817] Tap. Petrol cereal aroma. Clear, pale yellow tan body with a quick bubbly head. Chewy fruity yeast petrol flavour has a lingering fruit aftertaste. Medium body. Interesting but also not a style I usually like. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

Bottle. Pour is a crystal clear light gold with a fizzy head and aromas of lemon tartness and a little metal. Flavor is clean and lightly tart with a metallic edge and a bit of graininess. This is not an aggressive attempt at a Berliner but more of a lawnmower beer in my book. Decent but not overly interesting.

really a nice berliner overall, nothing too crazy but something you could easily drink every day.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a large creamy bright white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was musty and lactic with tart lemon and yogurt. The flavor was tart and tangy lemon, lactic, yogurt and salt. Long finish. Medium body. Solid.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Superstar - Melville, 10/17/14

Aroma: The nose of this beer is wheat/spice, some lemon, and a bit of sweetness
Appearance: It pours a murky looking yellow-gold with a small, fizzy white head
Flavor: The tartness really comes out in the flavor, there’s wheat/spice, and a mild sweetness
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a lively carbonation, and it has a rather tart finish to the feel
Overall Impression: This is a decent Berliner, but not an amazing example of the style. It is still plenty flavorful though at such a low ABV. Solid.

Sour start and enjoyable however flavors are very brief and ends with little to know after taste. Would like the pucker to be a little more fulfilling.
