Bottle, yes bottle. Pours a very dark brown color, very light beige head. Aroma of chocolate, lactic/bretty sourness, some cherries, and roast. Flavor is a great mix of sour funk and chocolate. I really enjoyed the notes that the brett did to this beer. It really is a delicious and unique treat.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at GABF. Pours with a thick tan head over a near black body. Aromas are a bit funky, roasty, nutty, earthy and brett. Flavors are sour, bretty, roasty, nutty, and metal. Sour and roast are a tricky combination in my view. This doesn’t work too well. Medium bubbles, dry.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at Capone’s. Pour looks like nitro stout with sheets of thick, tan lace. Deep ruby looking black in the glass. Nose is grape juice. Taste is tart grape, roasted malt, acidic coffee, some harsh bile acid. Lighter mouthfeel- harsh acids though. Roast/coffee + sour grape doesn’t seem to be such a great combo. Should be moved to sour/wild ale.
