2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared by Jack. Pours a murky, poop water brown with a thin sudsy off white head. Nose is lightly fruity, some cereal malt, granny smith apples, caramel. Flavor is all sorts of weird—lightly smokey and goaty, toffee malts, ugh.

Bottle. Cloudy reddish color with a small tan head. huge, wet, hop aroma. Some caramel sweetness in the background. first taste is a real mix of flavors to sort out. Hops, sweetness. Bit of a burn in the finish offset by the touch of sweetness and hops.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Dadsgiving! Pours a hazed amber brown with a thin white head. A bit of malt, faint hops. Sweet initially, medium-bodied, spicy and malty, hoppy and bitter but not right away. Finishes still sweet with some more malt and a bit of grapefruit. Tasty enough but still too sweet.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from FLBC. Pours syrupy, dark amber, small tan head. Aroma is largely smoke. Flavor is smokey, but less so, tons of malt, sweet sweet booziness, and a little dry hop finish. Upon warming, the booze is quite noticeable. Drink it slow, on a cold night, and don’t consider it anything like a DIP. Barleywine it is, like the Millenium Oak Aged from a little south of here...
