COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fourteen Anniversary Ale is a hoppy black ale bursting with so much flavor you might think you’re tasting double. Made with ingredients gathered from seven parts of the world, Fourteen will hold your tastebuds and never let go. Enjoy the intensely floral nose from dry-hopped Cascade and Galaxy hops, the surprisingly light body from 2-row barley, wheat malt, black wheat, and Caramalt, and the strong bitter frinish from Chinook, and Cascade hops. Fourteen is like a fast moving squall, dark and complex with a beautiful black rainbow finish.

Very dark brown with medium light tan head. Aroma floral and citrus hops and some toasted malts. Medium body, no alcohol. Flavor is pretty dry without being extremely bitter. PIney and citrus hops, roasted malt, good balance and very drinkable. Excellent.

750ml bottle. Pours jet black with creamy white head. Aroma is floral and hoppy. The taste up front has a nice roastyness to it, with a floral hop bite finish to go with the malt backbone.

Fr bottle into snifter. Pours dark black with a lot of thick sea foam head. Woody, peppery aroma. Mouthfeel is moderate; between a porter and stout. Taste is earthy with a good amount of semi-bitter hops, plenty of cocoa and an almost rye-like bite. Good, but nothing one couldn't find in a lot of other much less expensive black IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 bomber. Complex. Black pour with vanilla head. Decent sudsy retention. Nose is all over the place. Slight roast with citrus, black licorice, pepper, and slight hops. Taste is medium hops, biscuit, roasted malt, and herbs. Pretty tasty but not very sessionable given the richness of flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Robust black ale. Dark and rich roasted flavor; there's a lot going on but in concert the flavor medley is top notch. An ever present hoppiness, but it never gets in the way, and imparts little bitterness. Pours almost like a stout -- midnight black with a yellow-hued head. Recommended! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice black ale. I wouldn’t say that it burst with flavor as the description indicated. But it was very good.

Bottle pours close to black but still seems to be brown. Huge foamy head was surprised because beer fairy thin. Looked really nice in glass. Taste smell hops citrus grapefruit pine. Roasted malts were there however this black ipa said I’m not going to give you lots of black more ipa and I’m fine with that. Sometimes they are too roasty this is not has a bit dark chocolate in it as well. I liked this smooth went down fast while snow blowing. Just wish it had more body would that make it better prob not but I want it.

Nice strong malted milkball colored head of fine and creamy bubbles. Rich chocolaty aroma with some roasted grains, sprucy hops and some anise. Color is a very dark brown. Light to moderate body with a strong bitterness up front. Dry roasted peanut skins, mild coffee, burnt toast and some bittersweet chocolate. Rather complex flavor but sort of one dimensional at the finish with burnt bitterness. Hides its alcohol very well. A pretty good black IPA but will probbly only cater to the real hop heads.
