Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber body under a rather active frothy beige head that had a little too much retention. The nose is showing a good bit of honey as well as an interesting yeast profile, light alcohol, and some slight farmhouse character. The flavor is pretty interesting, maybe a touch too sweet for my tastes, but the yeast has done some interesting things in here. The darker malts meld well with the sweetness from the honey. Medium bodied and not very clingy at all with a little too much frothy carbonation. Interesting beer, but not the kind of beer I’d drink with any regularity.

Sampled at the End of History tasting. Aroma of dark rye, caramel, honey, and some nice Belgian yeast. Pours deep dull brown with a gigantic foamy head. Taste is chocolate, figs, honey, and rye. A little thicker than it needs to be but there are some great tastes going on. Nice.

At jtclockwork’s. the aroma is honey, Belgian yeast. The appearance is hazy deep brown, off white head. The flavor is honey, fruit, yeast. The finish is spicy, slightly sweet. Medium in body. Pretty nice.

(bottle - 750 ml) Popped the cap and it immediately fizzed over, even continued to do so after I poured a glass. Dark brown pour with way too much tan head. Roasty and herbal aroma with some light sweetness. Flavor is bitter chocolate and roasted malts with the honey underneath it, but the carbonation made it damn near undrinkable.
