[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Unclear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty, peppery, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100731]

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, fruits, yeast, brettanomyces, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, alcohol, malt, fruits, candy sugar, and yeast, leading to a dry finish.

Solid body, syrupy, figs and dates with a chocolatey edge. A little yeast and friendly phenols. Warming alcohol in the finish. 161211

Bottled@Chriso pre-GBBF "rock the roof down" tasting. Deep coppery brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet caramel malts, mild roasted notes, some slight leathery and spicy notes as well. Flavour is alcohol, some sweet caramel malts, leathery and spicy notes as well as some mild toffee.
