Elegantly traditional and rich in itsí hop character, this India Pale Ale is thirst-quenching and soul-satisfying. Each sip delivers a bounty of herbal and floral hop character, balanced by the fruity signature of our house yeast.

Pours a clear golden with light, soapy white head. Aroma of pine/floral hops. Similar taste, great yin/yang balance of malt and hops. Wish I had this bottle all to myself. Next time Iím up north Iíll seek this brewery out.

Pours orange with a touch of amber and brown and yellow. Nose is of soap water, hops, and sweet malt. Tastes clean. Good balance of sweet and bitter. No way this is 7.5 alcohol. Great balance. Really nice.

Pours a lacing tan head with a golden-amber body. Aromas of dark honey and some clean hops. Flavor is clean, honey, little pine and citrus hops. Finish is a little dry and bitter.

Bottle. Poured a medium gold amber. Nose is light hops and a bit acetic. Flavor follows the nose. A bit thin. Kind of goes straight down the pipe and leaves a hint of decent hops but doesnít really expand itís flavors throughout your mouth. A bitterish finish. Decent

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2012 Bottle sampled at the small little deli on 20th and green, in Philadelphia. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with thin white head in my glass. Aroma is standard hop with slight floral presence. Mouthfeel is thin to medium with notes of floral and resin hops. RERATE: three years later. Aroma is fresh Amarillo, and pine hops. Bursts of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of citrus, fresh pineapple, light dusty funk and pIne. +1.0

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Estate on tap at Pinocchioís. Worlds better than my stale bottle from Monster Beverage. Sweet grapefruit nectar fills the air above the liquid. Thick and chewy with a nice bitter kick. Excellent. Bottle from Monster Beverage in Glassboro, NJ. Best buy date appears to be toicked on the line between "A" for August and "S" for September. I wouldn?t have bought it except I really have been looking forward to this, and it?s not available in my home state. Technically, I?m still in the brewers recommended window, but still my experience doesn?t match other reviews, so I will seek a fresher bottle (or tap) someday. Pour was golden/honey color with huge pillowy head. Nice looking beer. A sweet, fruity and hoppy aroma. I can?t see how anyone can call this bland...bursting with huge fruity and sweet flower nectar flavors...a huge maltiness. Unfortunately, very little bitterness is there to balance it out. I?ll bet this is outstanding fresh. Still good, but left me craving more.

A: pours a nice tawny color. Nice light tan head. Good retention level and nice cascading lacing. S: good citrus hop aromas, some pine as well. Good crystal malts. T: wonderful citrus hop flavors with a nice lighter malt(biscuity) flavor. Hints of pine and mostly grapefruit from the citrus. M: mild mouthfeel. Body is a little thin, but enjoyable. Solid carbonation level. Very crisp. D: great example of the style. Could be a little maltier, but a nice beer regardless. Would definitely drink again.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2011 8/22/10. Floral and fruity. Rather fresh hoppy aroma. Tangerines/apricots(?), hop flowers, some pine resin, a little grass. Itís just not quite as strong as Iíd like. A bit blandly bitter, particularly in the finish. A lightly sweet crystal malt flavor lurks below. This is yet another beer that Iíd like to revisit in the future, preferably from a fresh keg. 7/7/11. Better than I remember. Fruity, floral hop aroma and very good flavor. Could have a bit more bitterness, but itís nice and pale without any of the cloying caramel note that plagues many IPAs. It has some light stickiness. Pleasant beer.

Very nice, fruity nose on this. A sweet fruity rather than the grapefruit that is typical. Real nice feathered light amber rich gold color with a nice big head that laced around nicely before leaving a thin film on the surface. Nothing much on the back end which I like although most may not.
