3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 12 oz bottle, pours beautiful clear copper. Small head, spotty lacing. Amazing IPA aroma, hoppy as hell, with nice floral aroma. Complex flavor, all of them tasty, though the carbonation leaves much to be desired. Overall, I think this beer deserves a better rating. #1 in NYS is evidence of its quality.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hoping is spot on as is the malt that holds it together. The carb is a little weak and there is a strange soapy mouth feel. Decent head and strong lace.

thick mouthfeel at first sip. Extremely hopy, could be an imperial ipa. Bitterness a little over the top. Grassy hope on palate and nose. Sweet malt undertones. Carbonation could be a little sharper.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear copper with lasting head and lotsa lace. Very nice fresh wet hop aroma. Slight honey sweetness with ripe apricot fruitiness and well balanced assertive hop flavor and bitterness. Medium body and carbo. Reasonably complex, balanced, and chock full of excellent flavors. I can’t understand the low ratings.

Draft at brewery. Poured light amber in color with an offwhite head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is very floral...hence the name... grapefruit, with caranel malt also in the nose. Taste of caramel malt base with a citrus hop flavor. Finish is more bitter then i was expecting, but it was very good.
