Elegantly traditional and rich in its’ hop character, this India Pale Ale is thirst-quenching and soul-satisfying. Each sip delivers a bounty of herbal and floral hop character, balanced by the fruity signature of our house yeast.

Floral, perfumey aroma with hitns of orange. Sweet and malty upfront with some piney hops and a slight citrusy sweetness in the finish. Rather subtle and solid IPA.

Vegetal and mushy plus iron and earth plus citrus and a dab of pine, this power-packed hefty bodied IPA is great - I love this brewery.

I had this beer on tap at MacGregors. It is a nice amber color. The smell, however is very muted without much hoppiness. The taste is iniitally very nice with nice robust malt, a bit of bitterness follows, with a fresh sweet aftertaste. Minimal hop aftertaste is present. Overall average IPA.

Nice copper color, cream colored head. Milder aroma, somewhat grainy malt, a bit of hops. Nice malt backbone, very mild herbal hop flavor, missing that nice grapefruit/orange flavor. While that is the case, the hops were present for a long bitter finish, also dry. Medium body. Not bad.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2008 Pours a reddish amber with a nice white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass. Malty, floral hoppy, fruity aroma. The taste of this brew has a great floral hop character which is balanced out nicely with a malty sweet start and a fair amount of bitterness toward the end. Very drinkable and tasty, thanks Dan.

(Draught) Sampled at the Empire State Brewfest. Medium yellow head with an orange body. I found this more along the American Pale Ale style-lines with its grapefruit and orange flavours. Slightly above average.

Sampled at Empire Brewfest. Very fruity floral bouquet. Nice citrusy orange notes in there as well. Great aroma. Maybe a hint of graininess in the nose. Transparent copper color with frothy white head. Hoppy, but not overhopped. Kind of a milder IPA. Not overdone, which is refreshing.

Cute at first, but overly grating with the hops on repeated sippings. Has the power but could do well to ease up on hops. Looks good in the glass - good froth, deeper orange color, but almost astringent in hops.

Very malty nose, slightly sweet and hoppy. The flavor is sweet, well toasted malts with orange. Bitter, sour grassy hops in the finish. Its almost like a light barleywine. Too much for me.

Starts off with a dark orange pour with a spongy, generous white head with sticky lacing. The aroma has elements of day old grapefruit juice stuck in the bottom of a juice glass. Very acidic - chemical like flavor - the hops in this are way overdone. I should have seen this coming when the amber ale was a wee bit too hoppy. The aftertaste has elements of bandaid flavor. Not the best of the Ithacas I had. It takes more than hops to make an IPA.
