3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, - SEP 24, 2012My Bottom Line :
Piney, floral hop notes are met by honeyed cereals leading to a peppery hop bite in the finish.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A creamy veil of foam tops the misty gold.
-Not sure if age was an issue with this bottle, but the aroma was underwhelming for an American IPA.
-The smooth carbonation and modest residual sugars make for a comfortable mouthfeel.
-This is definitely a good brew, but it fails to be memorable in a sea of very good IPAs.
Bottle.

Bottle in a trade. Aroma is floral and citrus. Flavor is floral, herbal, citric, grapefruit, and light caramel after taste. Really like this beer, I love when breweries use floral hops in their Ipas.

nice hazy orange color. nose is fruity and floral, nice notes of juicy fruits. taste is bitter, with some grassy notes, and some of the fruit from the nose shines through.

12oz bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts and resiny pine hops as well as faint floral hop notes around the edges. The taste has a pleasing mix of sweet malts and bitter resiny pine hops that run headlong into firm floral hoppiness. This is nice drinking stuff where there’s a tasty balance of bitter and resiny hops as well as malt sweetened flavor hops.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 crajun (688) - , Texas, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Received in local swaps 3. Nice citrus fruit aroma. Light orange amber hazy pour. Malt with grapefruit and other citrus in flavor. Dry hops on backend. I usually prefer dipa to ipa’s. This was very good And refreshing which isn’t always the case with an ipa
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 szinck1 (23) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 1, 2013
From the bottle. Pours light orange, hazy, medium white head, leaves a bit of lacing. Pine, dank, citra hops in the nose. Good body, some malt, but mostly grassy, citrus-tasting hops with underlying pine and resin. Bitter finish lingers.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 rxeight (441) - Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2013
This isn’t a very good IPA. From the first smell I thought it was gonna be good. Thought I was picking up on some floral and citrius hop. But it was way too cold, my 3 year old turned the fridge down to near freezing. The taste was a bit off, possibly the malt, kinda weird finish and didn’t mix well. As it warmed it became pungent and filled with flavors of a dirty urinal. Pass on this one.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 matty (64) - Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy light orange color with a white head that settles to a film. Heavy aroma of cirtusy hops. Medium body, taste of citrus hops with some pine notes. Leans more to the hop than the malt but not overpowering. Finish is of bitter pine. Very good!!!
