UPDATED: JUL 28, 2014 Sampled on draft at Dadís Pub this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and bready and a bit dry with notes of perfume and floral hops. The flavor was malty and bready with perfume and floral hops. Medium length finish. Not much of a Belgian presence. The alcohol was well contained. Moderately full bodied.

(bottle - 12 oz) Gold pour with a fizzy head. Spicy hop aroma with lots of yeast and peppery floral notes. Spicy hop flavor as well. Belgian yeast isnít too overpowering but enhances the spicy note of the hops.

From a bottle this beer smells slightly sweet. First taste is cutting astringent citrusy sinbad. As session continues it gets more like very green grapefruit rinds. Yes, piercing back of throat thing happens fer a while. Real mouth coating happy BS.

Pours a two finger head. Yellowish clear with decent bubbles rising. Get the yeast, some green apples, sweetness, and hops on the nose. Medium to soft mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Not overly complex. No booze. Somewhat of a dry finish but the hops appear at the end again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Heinens. Pale gold with white head lace and chill haze. Beautiful tangerine pixie stix and banana aroma. Mild tangerine pineapple mango fruity sweetness with tangerine zesty mild clean bitterness and dry finish. Medium light highly attenuated body and soft mouthfeel. Really fuckin excellent. Wish I could buy this in fours or sixers at a reasonable price.

Look is pale yellow, more yellow than straw. Lovely white layer of head, and a thick slathering of lace. Tiny bubbles of carbonation. I love the aroma of this one: Belgian yeast funk, but followed by a flowery perfume of hops. Some leaves of potpourri waft out. Just a touch of clove. Some straw and hay, and something that resembles ginger A pungent Belgian funk is the first flavor you get, followed quickly by dried leaves, mushroom, heavy yeast. The oily, resinous hops show up on the back end. Some lemongrass lingers on the palate. The feel is slushy and heavy. This beer is like being in the woods on an autumn afternoon. Leafy, flowery, herbal. Itís the best of Ithacaís take on the Belgian styles. If I didnít know better I might think it was a Saison. Its complexity surprised me.

Pours straw yellow with white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, bread, and pine. Definite presence of Belgian yeast with some bread, candii sugar, some citrus and pine. Great lacing. Very nice!
