Pours a cloudy straw yellow color with a white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, and spice. Very sweet fruit flavor with some grain and spice. Meh.

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy gold pour with a white head. Light yeasty and spiced aroma. Definitely get some alcohol. Flavor is shockingly mild for a tripel. Spicy yeast, bitter hops, some light fruit and an alcohol burn. Mediocre.

This didn’t work. Pours clear golden limited head after a few seconds and no lacing. Nose is sweet fruit. Flavours of peach, sugar, some light dough. Taste light/med sweet. Light body with medium carbonation. Just not much going on here for the style.

Bottle. Notes of pepper, some bread, spice and hay. Decent body. It was ok for me.

A very strong ale - if that’s what you’re looking for. As far a tripel goes? Not sure. Perhaps a domestic wannah bee but it needs more manners to be civilized like the real thing from the old country. Somewhat unrefined finish. It’s 10% and you know it, wew.

12 oz - Came dangerously close to a drain pour. Way too sweet on first sip, became less shocking. Not for me

Pours out a cloudy golden color with a small off white head. Aroma is of over ripe fruits, grains, light spices. Taste is odd. Over ripened fruit, grassy hops, strange spices, some sweet boozy notes, odd syrup. Eh

Bottle from Heinens. Yellow gold with ring. Spicy banana pineapple sugary aroma. Very sugary sweet and mango pineapple fruity with underlying lingering bitterness and slick oily medium body. Blech. Not the worst American tripel but not very good.

Light gold pour, light corny aroma. Flavor is tart with notes of dried fruits and Belgian yeast. Not too good.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC. Pours a clear gold with some swirling white head. Nose has perfume, peach, grass, hand lotion, candlewax, honey. Flavor is sweet, honey, malt, some candy, chrysanthemum tea, a flick of lemon. Clean finish. Easy drinker for 10%.
