COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The rich mahogany hue of the Nut Brown is the first thing you will notice about this complex, malty brew. A delicate blend of chocolate malt, caramel malt, and four other malts brings to this beer a chocolatey sweetness, and hints of coffee. The malt character is subtly balanced with Northdown and Fuggles hops.

A solid nut brown year after year. The malt balance is just about as good as you can get. Solid brew from a great brewery.

Bottle. Decent American brown. Toffee and nutty notes. Medium to lighter bodied. Not a huge fans of brown ales but this is a decent one

Heavy aroma of cocoa beans and coffee. Reddish cola appearance. It’s nutty and sweet, but surprisingly bitter and astringent as well. Thin, with the consistency of warmed syrup. Typically American brown ale.

Chocolatey, nutty brown ale that drinks easily and smoothly. A little thin, though not out of style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a rich dark brown color with minimal tan head. Aroma is leather and chocolate. Taste is dark malt yet not overly sweet offset by a bit of spicy hops. It then turns chocolate as the taste lingers.

Cloudy and hazy mahogany color. Not much head formation even after an aggressive pour, but has good carbonation. Mostly malty aromatics with some chocolate powder. Simple tasting nutty and malty and a bit dry on the palette. Plain jane beer.
