COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ithaca Beer is proud to introduce our Outdoor Harvest Ale. This wet hopped beer has freshly picked Cascade hops from Pederson Farms(the same hops used in our infamous Double IPA). Outdoor Harvest Ale has a pleasant hop aroma and a very smooth flavor. It’s an easy drinking hazy copper color ale with a subtle hop flavor and a nice malt finish. This beer is draft only and available at the brewery for a limited time.

Pours copper with some off-white head. Earthy aroma with some hops, grass, along with some caramel and toasted malts. Medium bodied, a little bit heavier and more flavorful than their standard pale ale.

Growler filled at Big Z and consumed two days later. Pours a hazy dull gold with a thin-moderate linen white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of fresh Cascade hops that is filled with flowers, light spice, grapefruit, and fresh pine. The flavor is malt with a bit of a bready characteristic followed by some citrusy hops. Mild-moderate bitterness that lingers briefly beyond the swallow. Solid pale ale.

On tap, tried this fresh out of the tanks. Poured a murky brown with slight white head. Taste was quite good....very hoppy, somewhat nutty as well. Not a ton of carbonation in it at the time, probably because it was so new. Quite good...just a solid pale ale...I’d love to have this again.

Copper pour with an offwhite head. Aroma is earthy caramelmalt with a spivey, floral hop profile. Flavor is rustic maltiness, and predominately citrus hoppiness and lovely orange rind bitterness. Nice

Draught. At Cole’s, Buffalo, NY. Cloudy orange pour with an average lasting off-white draught head. Mildly floral sweet grain aroma, generic and a bit dry. The taste is quite solid - fresh cereal grain, not too sweet, a nice dry leafy bitterness balances it out. Average body, carbonation and linger - nothing special, but a great quaffer - the sum is greater than the parts, I would have this again in a heartbeat - well above their usual offerings.
