Served in a nice stainless steel growler. Thanks to the girlfriend for bringing back to Dallas! Pours light gold with a slight haze. Nice white frothy one finger head. Somewhat grainy smell, but not much aroma. Crisp, resiny hops. Bark. Earth.

Called outdoor wet hop pale ale. Tap, wants to be an ipa but never gets there. Some mild to medium ipa attributes but never over the top nor in yer face. Its simply a pretty well behaved enjoyable pale ale. Towards the end some bitter ipa like hops set in. Overall not bad for an apa.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at The Pour House in Westmont, NJ.
Pours a slightly hazy golden straw color with a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Streaks of soapy lace let behind.
Floral hop aroma with subtle earthy pine needle countered by sweet citrus and pale malt. Hints of grass, grapefruit and lemon peel along with bready yeast notes. Some light fruit and biscuit as well.
Medium bodied with a crisp hop bite up frot that lingers over the citrus fruit and pale malt backbone into a dry finish. Spicy, resinous hop bitterness with pine needle and grassy flavors counters by lemon peel, pineapple and grapefruit. Decent malt backbone adding balance without taking away from the hops. Hints of caramel, bread, biscuit, toffee and light fruit. Well balanced, flavorful and very easy to drink.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold body under a small foamy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is actually pretty toned down as far as the hops go. The hops are resiny and a little citrusy, the malt is pretty heavy on the bready and doughy notes. The flavor is quite a bit more bitter than I was expecting based on the nose, very resiny with a pithy grapefruit note towards the finish. Fairly thick and heavy pale bready malt base. Medium bodied with an almost chewy texture and sturdy fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice beer, lots of hops in this guy.
