COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ithaca Beer is proud to introduce our Outdoor Harvest Ale. This wet hopped beer has freshly picked Cascade hops from Pederson Farms(the same hops used in our infamous Double IPA). Outdoor Harvest Ale has a pleasant hop aroma and a very smooth flavor. It’s an easy drinking hazy copper color ale with a subtle hop flavor and a nice malt finish. This beer is draft only and available at the brewery for a limited time.

Draft. Hazy gold body. Frothy white head. Aroma of leafy, raw hops, toasted grain, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky, lively carbonation. Clean harvest ale. Lingering bitterness. Light husky grain. Nice balance.

Served in a nice stainless steel growler. Thanks to the girlfriend for bringing back to Dallas! Pours light gold with a slight haze. Nice white frothy one finger head. Somewhat grainy smell, but not much aroma. Crisp, resiny hops. Bark. Earth.

On tap at Blue Tusk. Light amber with a creamy white head. Grain, light malt, apricot, bit of wet cardboard. Average body with good carbonation, bit sweet, becomes sweeter and slightly dry towards the end.

Pours cloudy wheat in color with a big creamy white head. The aroma brings sweet and syrupy notes and reminds me more of wheat beers. The flavors are sweet, malty, syrupy wheat-like. Not expected to be sweet and refreshing for the style, but the malt profile maintains the harvest style to me.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grassy and spicy hoppy aroma with pale malty notes. The flavor has spicy hops, as well as grassy, floral and piney notes, with a light sweetness and crackery malts. Fresh and delicious.

Tap at Pacific Standard. Haha it’s pretty funny but I have here in my notes that this has all the notes and character of a DIPA minus the overly sweet body. Well lo and behold. The pour is clear, full orange with really not much of a head. The aroma is tropical fruits, apricots, peach. Taste is peppery hoppy, kumquat, and apricot flavor similar to DIPA without too much sugary body. Dry, soapy mouthfeel. Lots of fresh, dried orange fruits in the body. In between an IPA and DIPA.
