2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice orange tint to the golden colour, sour fruity smell. Good pale ale taste with some distinctive fruity notes. Some hops go towards the aftertaste, but an all-arond decent beer!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2004 This pale has been upgraded since my last rating. I heard that they were hopping this brew up, and it delivers. Nicely hopped and well balanced. A good effort and one worth seeking out in and around the area.
This is an average beer at best. Little in the way of maltiness and a sharpness without good hop flavor. The nut brown and flower power are much better.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nice hoppy American pale. Golden pour is nice to look at. Good companion to spicy foods. Malt was there, but in the background as a pale ale should be.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice orange color; Frothy white head. Nice crispness on the tongue, with pleasent citrus notes. Hops created a slight burn on the tongue.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottled - all the pieces are there but didn’t gel quite right for me. nice head and color but aroma and flavor have a hop bitterness without the spice and floral chracteristics.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
First time I tried it, there was an instantanious metallic flavor that I hated. That was two years ago. I was in Ithaca and a bar tender at the Chapter house ( If you are ever in Ithaca stop there, it’s a great bar. 40 beers on tap and all dank!) told me that they had completely changed there equipment. So I tried it again and wasn’t impressed but it certainly had lost the metallic taste. Slightly hoppy, slightly malty,... slightly good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy light amber with a fat rocky off white head. Steady carbonation (almost too much). Krausened. Aroma of toasted malts, bread and lemon rinds. Highly bubbly with a biscuity body and citric hop twang. Solid pale but too bubbly. I had to let it sit for a while before enjoying it.
