COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Pale Ale boasts a fragrant aroma and assertive, crisp bitterness. This ale has a deep golden color and slightly sweet malt finish, which nicely balances its hop bitterness.

A nice hop profile for an american pale. Getting a bit of citrus and orange peel in the nose. Flavor is smooth and balanced with a nice grapefruit bitter finish. A decent body and overall very nice drink.

12oz Bottle. Thanks Kevin! Strong floral citrus and pine nose, heavy on the C hops. Pours a clear copper and orange with a nice, super-lacey rim of white. Flavors are crips and rich. Nice strong malt backboned with some carameled nuance. Hops flavors and bitterness are great. Snappy, leafy, and bright. A really great, flavorful pale ale. Balanced. Exemplary for the style, in my opinion.

Very nice floral taste without really any sweetness to it and a medium body.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2010 Bottle bought at some convenience store in Avon, NY. Copper pour with white head. Decent lacing. This is a crisp pale ale, with fresh citrusey flavor and aroma, with a bit of bitterness but not a whole lot. Excellent malt balance. I really, really, really, really, really enjoyed this brew. One of the best Pale Ales I’ve ever had. It’s not an IPA masquerading as a PA or anything. This would be my go-to Pale Ale if they sold it in stores near me.

No real hop nose, malts dominate the aroma, grapefruit hop flavor comes out in the body. Description suggests sweet malts...my palate missed that. There is a balance of hop & malt, decent lacing and a bit of pepper thrown in the flavor too.

2007: Light and clear orange-amber color. Decent stubborn finger of foamy head. Quite clear. Leaves just a bit of lace. Pleasant pale malt. Hoppier than most pales, quite nice, though nothing remarkable; it’s good enough. Flowery, estery *mild* hops. Dry, biscuity malt. It’s very ordinary, but a pretty good value. A nice, dry, slightly bubbly pale. Ordinary, pale as it should be, competent. A good deal overall.
