12 oz bottle. Very nice floral hop and honey malt aroma. The flavor is dry and hoppy as expected, but well balanced on its rich, malty chassis. Touches of pineapple and nuts, and a clean, crisp finish. A bit on the hops plus side. well done. Not the same old same old. Distinct.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3947) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large creamy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was light pine and faint vague fruity and floral hops. The flavor was tangy and sweet caramel, bread, fruity hops, and floral hops. The finish was long, bready and hoppy. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours golden amber with a small creamy near-white head. Mild aromas of resin and citrus. Flavor is resin with a touch of citrus sour. The malt is there, but the hops dominate. Sort of a citric bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle- Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small head that fades and some lacing. Has an aroma of fresh grain and citrus. Quite clean. Has a nice citrus bite with a bit of sweetness. Anice bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, crisp and refreshing. Quite smooth with a nice balance. Easy drinker. Nothing fancy just a nice pale ale to relax with. No problem putting back a few.

Bottle. Deep gold body with an off-white fizzy head Aroma of toasted grain, resin, grapefruit and a hint of flowers. the flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, water texture, lively carbonation. Not a lot depth to this beer. It is bitter from the get-go. A little orange juice taste behind the bitterness.

Bottled. Poured medium orange with a short, fairly dense whitish head. The aroma picked up bready and pale malts with earthy and oxidized accents.. not a whole lot of hop presence. The flavor found more bitterness, but it was hard to define.. pale and honeyed malts supported.. dry on the finish with grainy residual sugars and a little tartness.. not all that good. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation.. didn’t flow very well. This bottle must’ve been a little old.

A - Pours a fairly clear copper-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down to a ring around the glass leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malt with some strong citrus hop notes. There are also some other fruity esters mixed in as well. T - Starts off with some sweet caramel malts and some citrus hop flavor and bitterness. Through the middle, some beady malt flavor and bitterness come through. The finish is a mix of citrus lemon and some bitterness that lingers nicely. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth and crisp without a watery feeling. The bitterness creates a really dry mouthfeel, especially at the finish. D - Very drinkable. Feels balanced and has enough flavor to stay interesting. The hop profile is pretty solid and the malt hop balance is nice.
