2007: Light and clear orange-amber color. Decent stubborn finger of foamy head. Quite clear. Leaves just a bit of lace.
Pleasant pale malt. Hoppier than most pales, quite nice, though nothing remarkable; it’s good enough.
Flowery, estery *mild* hops. Dry, biscuity malt. It’s very ordinary, but a pretty good value.
A nice, dry, slightly bubbly pale. Ordinary, pale as it should be, competent. A good deal overall.

What a pale ale should be. A good balance of medium bodied sweet malt flavor which blends into a slight bitter hop ending.

There is the subtle aroma of wheat and hops, but not much. The hops come at the end with some bitterness no sweetness at all. It pours a little darker, more amber than golden. It’s okay, but not great.

Bottle. Pours a clear dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite malty, lots of caramel malt, some raisin. Flavor of more bland caramel malt, some light citrus hops and tropical fruits in the finish. Decent and drinkable, better than the average suggests (sure, it’s not spectacular but it’s pretty solid).
