Poured a clear amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, citrus fruits, and caramel. Taste of citrus fruits, pine, toffee, some caramel, and a bitter, hoppy finish

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Slipstream (1466) - USA - JUL 24, 2009
Amber pour. Very nice floral hop and honey malt aroma. The flavor is dry and hoppy as expected, but well balanced on its rich, malty chassis. Touches of pineapple and nuts, and a clean, crisp finish. This is one of the best (and most underrated) APAs I can think of, and another treat from this consistently fine brewery.

7/23/2009: Ithaca Pale Ale has a faint aroma of peach and grapefruit (slightly floral as well) along with an hazy amber color and foamy beige head. Again, the flavor seems a bit soapy and is quite floral with lots of perfume and a very mild bitterness. I was really encouraged by a couple of the Ithaca beers, but the others I sampled from the mixed 12-packs have been somewhat disappointing. A beer’s appearance usually doesn’t bother me, but all of Ithaca’s brews are hazy to cloudy (including the Pils) and I am detecting other common threads of high perfume and soapy flavors (especially in the middle). Overall their beers aren’t bad, but they aren’t something that I would drink again.
12 fl. oz. bottle (Best Before: July 2009) from Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #136 for this beer.

Bottle from Belmont Party.
Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hops and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this to a freind.
