3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Six pack from Julios. Pours out a hazy medium-light orange color. Light white head that goes to lacing. Aroma is very pleasing. Lemon, spice and bready wheat. Flavor is light and refreshing, but plenty enjoyable. Not too sweet or too bitter. Mild bread-wheat character. Well balanced. A very under-rated refreshing summer beer, IMO.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Citrus, spice, and a little funk in the aroma. Taste starts sweet and spicy, with lemon/citrus. More spice and a little fruit bitterness in the finish. Nice summer beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours out slightly cloudy with a huge, fluffy white head. Aroma is of a straight does of coriander, some grainy wheat malts, orange peel and light tartness. Taste is much the same, way too much coriander for my liking, some orange peel, citrus and grainy malt notes.

1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Draft at Pony with Andrew. Pours a clear yellow body with thin white foamy lacing. Aroma is light wheat, lemon, vanilla cream, and clove. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of stale wheat, grain, clove, very unbalanced with a terribly dry, stale grain flavor in the finish. What a train wreck.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Pony Bar last night with Maggi, Johnny K, Massimo and Streets. Hazy yellow pour into shaker. White head. Nose is a little wheaty/zesty, flavor is wheaty. Pretty middle-of-the-road witbier. Light bodied and drinkable, but not as zesty as I would like for the style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From notes. First reviewed 11/30/2010. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass. Thanks to Shrek806 for sending this.
Party Sunny pours a hazy golden color with a huge creamy white head. The golden color is party, if not mostly, sunny.
The nose has a little something different - robust citrus in addition to the orange peel, along with a wide variety of spice. Coriander, ginger, and cloves are all present.
Although the secondary flavors give this a nice twist, the primary grain bill is a bit lacking. Some good spices though, and the lemon zest adds a nice touch. I actually get a little banana and some floral and citrus hops - maybe a bit much? - toward the end.
Crisply carbonated, light to medium body, zesty.
This is a little bit different than the regular beers in the style, and I liked it, but there are better ones out there.
