A beer in the making!
Perhaps the first in many to follow, Rough Draft is how we define this test series. An inclusive name to test out new beer ideas and see what you think.
Will it become a permanent addition to the Ithaca Beer family? Can’t say for sure. This series will be one to watch and sample through the batches.
The first Rough Draft is a gentle wheat ale made with puree from locally grown apricots and apples. A delightfully refreshing beer to drink on a hot summer day!

On tap at Ithaca Memorial Day weekend 2011.
Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head and a bit of lacing. The nose carries some light citrus and a bit of wheat. Some orange and a bit of light straw. The flavor was pretty decent, carrying some straw and light grain plus a bit of a wheat presence. Along with that came some light citrus and some stone fruits. Light bodied and quite refreshing on a very warm day. Pretty nice brew.
Serving type: on-tap
