Drank at the airport in Zurich nice colour not intense as the colour likes to suggest but drinkable and not a great hint of alcohol easy to drink

Amber color with big head. Aroma is straightforward malts. Taste is sweet caramel malt, then bitter towards the end and a heavily metallic finish. Oh boy. Nothing special and not pleasant. Drinkable until you start swallowing.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a small and quickly dissipating white head. Slight caramel aroma, some hoppy notes and slightly smell/dusty. Taste is sweet and malty, a bit too much, a little caramel later on, finishing with an ok bitterness, but too sweet in the aftertaste again. Not really nice, to be fair.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 330ml bottle served in its own tulip-like glass. A: Pours a beautiful and amber to copper color forming a big and bubbled white to yellow head. Good retention and many lacings left S: Roasted malts, toffee, caramel malts, notes of honey. Flowery and citrus Heineken style hops in the end T: Follows the nose. A slightly sweet upfront with strong notes of caramel, toffee and sweet grains. Notes of honey. A little bit metallic taste in the beginning. Hoppy balanced bitterness at the end. Despite of being an Amber Ale, I would dare to say that it uses Lager yeasts. As a matter of fact, I would call it an improved amber version of Heineken. Anyways, the yeasts profile is quite bready and not fruity as expected from an Ale M: Light body. Medium to high carbonation. Bready and mild bitter aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Easy drinking. Not bad [ BA Review @ 2/21/2010 ]
