COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On draught at a Zurich airport hotel. Malt, a hint of smoke, crisp herbal finish. Too thin - a stonger version of this could have been a great beer!

330ml bottle served in its own tulip-like glass. A: Pours a beautiful and amber to copper color forming a big and bubbled white to yellow head. Good retention and many lacings left S: Roasted malts, toffee, caramel malts, notes of honey. Flowery and citrus Heineken style hops in the end T: Follows the nose. A slightly sweet upfront with strong notes of caramel, toffee and sweet grains. Notes of honey. A little bit metallic taste in the beginning. Hoppy balanced bitterness at the end. Despite of being an Amber Ale, I would dare to say that it uses Lager yeasts. As a matter of fact, I would call it an improved amber version of Heineken. Anyways, the yeasts profile is quite bready and not fruity as expected from an Ale M: Light body. Medium to high carbonation. Bready and mild bitter aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Easy drinking. Not bad [ BA Review @ 2/21/2010 ]

Amber reddish color with no head what so ever. Well carbonated with large bubbles. Malty and fruity fresh aroma. Fresh bubbly, lightly dry malty flavor with hints of hops and apples. Sweet malty on the palate with nice hoppy tones. Finishes with a long lasting hoppy aftertaste. very enjoyable.
