May 5, 2003 An amber beer with a beutiful lasting head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of oranges and hops. The flavor is a flat bitter one with a slight metallic note. It ends with a lot of bitterness from a great hop. Really good for a bitter.

Quite full and not really that bitter - actually the sweet notes are more pronounced. Slightly roasted caramel. Apparantly brewed with some oats. 260503

Mar 12, 2002 Amber, hazy; earthy bitterness; smooth body. Kind of restrained for this brewery, but all the right components are there.

Sweet malty flavour with lots of toffee.
Nice malty flavour with notes of caramel, grass and a well balanced hoppy finish.
Nice ESB.
