Ljunkan (71), Karlstad, Sweden Mar 23, 2008 A good lager from Jämtlands. Hoppy taste, with some fruit noticable. Ale character, and that’s not a bad thing for a lager imo... Definitely a rebuy for the summer evenings. mybestfriend (186), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden colour with a white head. Hoppy on the nose with notes of citrus. Flavour is hoppy with some nice malty caramel notes. Good lager! The_Jester (427), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Mar 4, 2008 500 mL bottle. Dark gold in colour with a medium, sticky, white head. Mild citrus-pine aroma. Nice flavour for a lager; the hops again, caramel, some nice bitterness at the end. Medium body, medium to heavy carbonation. More like an American (micro) pale ale. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Veer (308), Landskrona, Sweden Feb 14, 2008 Aroma: malty, apple, some honey, carmaelized. Lovely, fresh hops, green. Strange, sweet and fresh balance.
Flavour: slightly sweet initially, then moving towards mild but complex hopbitterness. Malty and full-bodied for a lager. Nice, long afterbitterness.
Appearance: clear, warm golden colour. Some head that diasppears swiftly.
Palate: fizzy, quite thin but very palatable. Some fluffiness due to all the co2.
henk21 (5), Sweden does not count Feb 8, 2008 Bottle: nice brown-orange almost clear appearence. Foam is guite big but not compact and fades away quick. Smells a little shy but theres some fruity-spicy hop to it. Mouthfell is sticky light bodied with average carbonation. Taste is also bit fruity spicy and bitterness. Bit nutty... fudge! Theres a smokish tone in the aftertaste that i dont really enjoy. Nice afterbitterness. This tastes similiar to a good english bitter but the body is thinner here. Not your regular massproduced lager in any way. Quite good, for a lager!
