Bottled@Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere. Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some toffee and mild floral notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly and toffeeish. Quite tasty, and also shows some nice toasted notes towards the finish. As it warms up it does show some grainy notes.

Bottle 500ml (Tuulensuu)
Clear amber color, small off-white head. Light breadyness, toffee and grain in the nose. Medium-bodied. Some toffee, grass, hints of alcohol. Maybe they have house flavor as this tastes a bit like their abbey dubbel :)

Ewwwwww, that’s an off aroma. Nice reddy amber, persistent tight off-white head. Ewww, lactic sourness in the taste too. But a very nice roast . Shame about the sourness, I can tell there’s a nice dark beer behind the flaws. The finish is actually very nice, the fullness of the roast covers the tongue. Nice nutty finish. The lacticity probably improves the fullness of the palate. I would like to have this fresh as the brewer intended.

2012-07-08. Bright copper/amber body with a modest beige head. 3+ Malty aroma, toasty malt and caramel touches. Similar flavour, malt forward with light bitterness and a mild tangy quality to it. Average bodied palate. Decent, enjoyable. Bottle shared by Radek

bottle, picked up at prague alefest at klub hoodoo. quite a faithful rendition of a duesseldorf alt - murky light brown with a lingering off-white head; aroma of slightly sweaty, sweet caramel and vanilla; hints of mulch, buttery banana and lightly metallic bitterness. a fair effort

Radekfest 2012 – Bottle 500ml
Aroma fresh, clean crisp hop feel. Proper true hops used for style. Sweet caramel backing. Bready malts at finish.
Appearance clear, amber brew with medium beige , slightly creamy cap.
Flavor and Palate : malty front, slight creamy hints. Mild with proper to style bitterness. Nutty hop character. Medium low carbonation. Semi-dry hints behind. Good, not best Alt but solid interpretation. Reminded me a bit of Schumacher Alt.
