Brown reddish color, smelled a bit like a Norwegian christmas bock beer, also has the same alcohol level. Big off white head on mine, sweet caramel flavored head. Foam is more creamy than a Norwegian bock though. Caramel and dried fruit is what I smell. Not until I taste I recognize the Irish stout feeling or even the real ale feeling of this ale. Low carbonation, and really not that big of an aftertaste. Low in bitterness, well at least compared to what I usually drink., quite sweet.... :) An OK beer for getting drunk I guess, nothing extra or interesting...

500ml bottle. Very dark brown color. Small size, brown head, disappears. Roast, faint prunes, daffodil in aroma. Minerals, roast, wheat, metallic taste. Soft carbonation. Very late hops in aftertaste.

500ml bottle (BeerGallery Dominskaja, Krakow)
Mashy aroma, sweet, some iron, some honey. Dark reddy brown, clearly just a dark dark lager. Massive iron taste, bronze coins, some sugary malts. Smooth palate, but unpleasant to have in the mouth. Finish minerally, bloody and sticky. Nope.

Ciemne, przejrzyste piwo z rubinowymi refleksami. Piana kremowa, z początku obfita po pewnym czasie zredukowana do delikatnego kożuszka, piana delikatnie oblepia ścianki szkła. .

The color is almost seal which looks great I think. I would prefer it much more if it was more tanned, with more coffee taste.

Bottled. A black beer with a red shine under a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Bootle. Coffe, caramel, chocolate aromas. White stable foam. Dark brown transparent color. Taste of chocolate, roast malts and caramel but with too big bitterness and iron aftertaste.

Whoever calls this beer a baltic porter is clearly nuts, as it most definitely is your usual, average dark lager. I’m not going to rate this as a BP.

Served in teku glass.
Dark brown with pretty average, not-very-lasting head. Some lacing can be seen on glass.
Aroma - minimal chocolate, some caramel, pinch of polish hops, weak and boring one; seems empty. Young beer smell (ethanal and butanedione). No roastiness. Some wet cardboard. Yuck.
Taste - semi-bitter with solid caramel backbone, some sourness and bitterness coming both from dark malts and hops. Think of this as your regular dark lager. Nothing spectacular happening there, medium bodied with above average carbonation. Still more interesting than pale cousins.

If it was more roasty I’d say it’s a schwarzbier. Kinda remembers me of Pinta’s Czarna Dziura, but it is much more boring and defective.
