Brown reddish color, smelled a bit like a Norwegian christmas bock beer, also has the same alcohol level. Big off white head on mine, sweet caramel flavored head. Foam is more creamy than a Norwegian bock though. Caramel and dried fruit is what I smell. Not until I taste I recognize the Irish stout feeling or even the real ale feeling of this ale. Low carbonation, and really not that big of an aftertaste. Low in bitterness, well at least compared to what I usually drink., quite sweet.... :) An OK beer for getting drunk I guess, nothing extra or interesting...

Flaska 50 cl. Brunsvart med beige skum. Liten doft av choklad och bröd. Söt smak med lite choklad.

18.07.15. Quite intensive dark chocolate and malty aroma. Medium head disappearing to small and durable layer. Dark brown clear body. Pleasant taste of roasted bitterness with some dark chocolate sweetness.

O dziwo świetnie wypijalne piwo. Nie jest jakimś urywaczem głowy, ale naprawdę nie posiada wad i bardzo dobrze się pije.

Interesting....at first, tastes like a good impression of a stout (a bit less creamy, a bit more caramel), though the more watery character becomes more apparent as it warms up . Still a worthwhile find!

Barwa ciemnorubinowa, obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa piana, ładny lacing. Aromat słodowo-karmelowy z wyraźnymi estrami. Smak karmelowy, lekko palony, chlebowy, umiarkowane nasycenie, niska goryczka, raczej pijalne. Butelka 05.09.2015

I don’t know what is it about this beer but every time I tried it it tasted completetly different. Sometimes it doesn’t taste like a stout at all but at some occasions it has a good roasted aroma, light bitterness and sourness and fine drinkability.

Piana beżowa, drobna, trwała. Kolor ciemnobrązowy, nieprzejrzyste. W aromacie ciemne słody, lekki karmel. Nut palonych typowych dla stouta brak. W smaku gorzkawy karmel. Piwo ma dość mało ciała. Jak na stouta brak mu paloności. Pojawia się lekki diacetyl. Ogólnie słabo.

Piana kremowa, be?owa, ?rednio p?cherzykowa, w szklance utrzymuje si? przez par? minut, ?adnie oblepiaj?c szk?o. Smak to dok?adna kopia aromatów, pierwsze skrzypce graj? s?ody i karmel. W tle bardzo, bardzo delikatna kawa zbo?owa. Po ogrzaniu ponownie pojawia si? sma?ona ?liwka. Goryczka odpowiednia dla ca?o?ci smaku, bardzo ?adnie balansuje karmelow? s?odycz. I to wszystko. Mam wra?enie ?e "mój" Belfast powinien by? zgo?a inny, pe?niejszy, bardziej kawowy i w ogóle bardziej ...

Sample from the bottle. Pours hazy brown colour with medium off-white mostly lacing head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roasted malt. Flavour is medium sweet, chocolate, vanilla, hints of coffee. A bit watery texture. Finish is smooth and dry. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Rather light for stout. Lite aroma of caramel and malt. Mild taste of roasted malt with sweet caramel background
