Pours pale yellow/golden with little head, quickly dissipating. Little aroma of sweet malt. Flavor is light malt, a bit sweet. Fairly carbonated. Very easy to drink.

Standard lager Good enough beer to drink but doesn’t really stand out Marketed in the craft beer segment but locally Windhoek lager is at least as good if not better Again a good lager but price doesn’t match what it offers

Smokey taste. Typical lager besides that. Tons of foaming head sticks to the side of the glass. Clear golden pour. Pretty good

Good lager, slightly more taste than the ’usual’ market leading South African lagers.

Decent beer for its style. Slight hop aroma, could use more hops. Clear colour. Light bitterness, light body which is slightly flat. Clean finish. Overall, it is a pretty generic lager.

Light pale colour, small head, aroma of bread and citrus. Hoppy with little bit of pine flavours. Good all-rounder on a hot day.

Bottle. A light golden yellow colour with a small shortlasting head. An aroma of bread and fruit. The taste is light sweet. A light body and avarage carbonation. An ordinary pale lager

Draught@Boulder Bay, Cape Peninsula, South Africa. Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is dry and hopped, and the flavour is bitter and dry with a malty yeasty body and finish. Overall a nice refreshingly hopped lager.

Brewed at Paarden Eiland in Cape Town by the guys who make Boston Beer and Whale Ale, for this emerging brewery company who as yet have only one beer and no plant of their own. A tastier, more wholesome blond lager than anything made by SAB or the other multinationals for South Africa. A company to watch.
