Representing the darker side of Shandy, Jack-OTraveler is an alluring beer illuminated by the tastes of fall. He strikes the perfect balance between bright refreshment and seasonal spice. Jack is brewed with fresh pumpkin, for a delicious, dark hued, Shandyinspired beer.

Bottle. I put this off really long and finally decide to tick a few shandy’s. I was hoping this wouldn’t be awful. The aroma is light lemons mixed with pumpkin spice. Odd.

Ok, so yes.. It is lemonade mixed with pumpkin spice. Nutmeg, cinnamon and an almost artificial gourd note. Sugary fake pumpkin. Well, I was expecting this to be vile. However, it’s only mildly offensive. Still will not revisit.

Yellow pot with white head and lace. Aroma is large pumpkin. Flavor is the same with a touch of citrus. Light bodied with good carbonation. My first shandy and it is pretty good

Bottle at home forgot I grabbed this hopefully it’ll be last shandy I subject myself to for awhile. Odd clear copper orange beer. Nose is all spice and light pie. Tastes of traditional spicing nutmeg and allspice, some light pumpkin puree. Thin bodied. Not sweet and one of more drinkable shandies I’ve had. What this isn’t a shandy. Fuck a duck

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Pie spice aroma. Not quite medium body. Flavor is pie spice. Pie spice is pie spice.

Pour is a dark amber with a large tan head. Aroma is a very nice pumpkin pie spice. Lots of nutmeg. Flavor is a little watery and a bit soda like sweet and fizzy. The pumpkin spice is there but not in a big way. Smells great but the flavor is kinda weak. More like a pumpkin soda than a beer.

From a bottle at the Santee Bluegrass Festival. Aromas of lots of pumpkin and spice and nutmeg and the like. Much better than I had expected. In fact it was one that I really enjoyed in a field of mediocre beer.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky tan-brown with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was caramel, cinnamon sugar and nutmeg. The flavor was tart and spicy with cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.
