Appearance: Clear, deep yellow body with a small white head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling cereal malt aroma with slight flowery hop notes.
Taste: Sweet cereal maltiness. Lightly floral with just a touch of spicy hop bitterness. Still manages to finish sweetish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Not bad at all for a golden. BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA Jan 29, 2008 Very typical, but at this point not expecting anything to blow my top. Sweet grainey cereal maltiness with some light honey sweetness, just a hint of herbal hoppiness. Overall pretty flabby. General_Gao (2303), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Oct 22, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear golden color. Head was thin and white. There wasn’t any lace left behind. Aroma, such as it was, consisted of some grassy hops and a whiff of cereal grain. Flavor was similar with a light fruity note that reminded me of apricot. Mild hop bitterness came out at the end. On the watery end of the spectrum. Not very good.
