(Listed as 5.1% when I visited the brewery). Appearance: Clear, deep yellow body with a small white head. Smell: Sweet-smelling cereal malt aroma with slight flowery hop notes. Taste: Sweet cereal maltiness. Lightly floral with just a touch of spicy hop bitterness. Still manages to finish sweetish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Not bad at all for a golden.

Very typical, but at this point not expecting anything to blow my top. Sweet grainey cereal maltiness with some light honey sweetness, just a hint of herbal hoppiness. Overall pretty flabby.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear golden color. Head was thin and white. There wasn’t any lace left behind. Aroma, such as it was, consisted of some grassy hops and a whiff of cereal grain. Flavor was similar with a light fruity note that reminded me of apricot. Mild hop bitterness came out at the end. On the watery end of the spectrum. Not very good.
