BlackDonald (724), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA Jan 29, 2008 I would have to go with a toss up between this and the porter for their most enjoyable brew. This has a sweet sort of chocolate richness, with the right amount of roastiness. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Stout

Black. Good head leaving lots of lace, sweet roasted aroma, rich creamy body with a good dose of chocolate, touch of oatmeal oilyness, slight lingering bitter finish that almost disappears when it warms

Jmichael (529), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Jan 8, 2007 Draught. Poured large frothy head. Very Dark. Sweet and Creamy with smooth aftertaste. A very good draught beer. Head stuck to my lips as I drank it. A lighter taste than other Stouts. But Good. Fish (433), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Jan 4, 2007 Shared a pint of this brew with Tony and Lauren when they visted Asheville last week. Black body, medium dark brown head. Not much to tickle the palate or the nose; but full of pleasant, sweet, dark malts. Still one of the best sweet stouts in town. Aurelius (2443), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Dec 30, 2006 Dang near opaque. Light woody, slight cereal aroma. Watery, smooth mouth. A bit vacant after the porter, but medium sweet, not fizzy, nutty. A bit flat. The porter’s better.
