2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark amber colored pour. Big off-white head. Some lacing. I can smell the light struck aroma from 3 feet away. Closer there is a musty earth. Taste is a tannic iced tea. A bit fruity in the back. Not sure why there is mention of lambic. Nowhere close to the same ballpark.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy brown colour with a small foamy head (reminds of Lipton Ice Tea). Malty full flavour without carbonation. Very glad to have tasted this, courtesy of Marc VC.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Better than the current version. Flat, no carbonation. Sweet, malty but also sour. Strange beer, some similarity with a faro.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle of 1995. Pretty sour beer which can be expected. Almost no head. Light red shine. Little complexity in the taste. Some red fruit hints can be tasted but the bitterness definately takes the upperhand. Not my flavour anyway.

Odd name. Amber color, white head. Aroma of faint orange and malt. Tastes of malt, dark cherry and yeast. Interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Cafe Rio, Herentals Belgium. Pretty sweet beer right here. And sweet in taste. It’s got a sweet taste to it. Get it? Play on words. It is also sweet as in "bitchin to drink". Seems to be a pretty standard ale, easy to get, hence the low ratings. But, if you dig a nice Belgian ale that won’t turn you into a retard after the 2nd glass, then you should check out Jack-Op. Funny name, tasty beer.
