3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
25cl, best before 05.03.2014. The beer starts smooth with slightly sourish-tart aftertaste. Not too deep, but fresh. Hints of sourness, a bit wood, lots of carbonation with a grainy fresh mixture. Short tart-sourish aftertaste with hints of horse blanket and a mix with pale sweetish beer.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Clear amber-gole pour with smallish white head. Aroma is grainy, lemony, fresh pizza dough, really doughy, light peachy and lemony fruitiness. Taste is sweet, lots of caramel, slightly sticky with an ever so slight tart twang, that ruins it more than helps it. Tastes like rotten grain juice, which is technically what beer is, but you would want to drink beer, not this.

Niet echt mijn soort bier. Sommige zullen dit heel lekker vinden, maar mijn smaak was het absoluut niet

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
25cl bottle. Clear brown and orange with small to medium head.
NOSE : Wet bread and biscuit, tea, caramel.
SIP : oily with medium body and moderate carbonation. It’s a medium sweet beer comparable to when you dump a biscuit into tea. It has a delicate acid like apple or lemon juice appearance in the end. Finish is quite comparable to the beginning. Aftertaste is earth and a bit of sour fruit.
OVERALL : it’s an easy to drink beer. I was expecting more lambic notes but they are well blended in and the beer isn’t even sour. Interesting and I don’t hate it.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle shared at CBC Islington during the Ryan Tasting - thanks to Matteo for bringing this game-changer. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Sugary, lightly fruity and grainy. Medium in body with fine, creamy carbonation. Sugary finish, a touch artificial. Meh.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Like Matteo before me, I too thought this beer was atrocious. Grainy and bitter with nothing remotely appealing to it. Not my kind of beer at all

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
26cl bottle shared at the Steasy66 tasting, CBC Islington. It pours a pale straw color with a small white head. Aroma is grains and skunk. Some grass and boiled rice. Taste is grainy and bitter with some more boiled rice and grass. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, ther’s no perceivable lambic in this beer and it’s honestly pretty bad. A disgrace.
