This was nice. A light fruitiness and zest, mixed with some hops. Almost like a Belgian IPA but not quite. Solid.

OK Ale, nothing special. Good enough to wash down a pizza , I hate to have a really good beer only to have a really good ’Za ruin it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tasted on 8/26/14 from a 12oz can purchased at Midtown. Pours hazy burnt orange with an average off-white head that slowly recedes, leaving a fairly thick collar and average lace. The nose is primarily citrus hops with a light malt backbone, but there is also a strange vegetal aroma just underlying. The flavor is crisp and light with the same citrus hops, light bread malt, and the vegetal note even further underlying. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long lightly bitter citrus peel finish. I have had batches of this beer that are cleaner, and it is much better, so this rating will reflect the middle ground.

Draft at Community pie though slightly altered by being served in a frozen glass. Pours light brown with a thin khaki head. Has a bit of floral on the nose. Bigger floral hop notes on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid example of style.

My favorite beer. APA. Coats your tongue with hoppy goodness. Not a lively look but a dark rich color.

12 oz can. Unfiltered Pale Ale. I couldn’t find a "canned on date", but it tasted pretty fresh. Nice session pale ale.
