Draft sampler pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, and a hint of floral. Taste is the malt, and a little bitter hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at The Pour in Nashville. Dark amber pour, nice lacing. Aroma is spicy hops and solid caramel malt. Flavors are same. Good.

On draft at Urban Grub. Beer was very lightly carbonated. Didn’t have a whole lot of hop presence. Not much bitterness found. A bit sweet. Not grainy though, more of a bubble gum or clean syrup sweet. Not great but drinkable.

Draft pint. Clear copper with a small ring of bubbles. Mild nose of caramel and a hint of banana. Taste is a little more assertive but not much: toasted pecan, caramel, grain, and dry grass. Light-medium body is smooth and well balanced.

Suttree (4452) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Sampled at Knoxville Brewfest. Very foamy head (freshly tapped keg, so that may be to blame here). Smells sweet and a little grainy. Flavor is lightly sweet and some grassy hoppy notes. Surprisingly rich palate. Tasty.

Very similar body to the red rye. Somewhat heavy, thick presence, making it pretty obvious that this is "unfiltered". The carbonation is only lightly present, and the malts are heavier than in most pale ales.

Dogbrick (6015) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 27, 2012
On draught at Puckett’s Grocery in Franklin. The beer pours a very hazy orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character that has fruity and floral notes. Some sweet malt in the background. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pint at the 12th Ave taproom. Pours orange. This is an approachable, no frills American pale ale. There is some light grapefruitiness, a little melon, hints at dough. It’s fairly hoppy, very middle of the road. Some grassy notes. Very standard. Not a bad brew.

Clear orange-gold. Nose is tangerine, orange and white flower. Medium-full palate is both floral and earthy-not what i was expecting from the nose. Pretty good.
