Draft sample. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate, caramel, nut and bourbon alcohol aroma. Heavy bittersweet dark chocolate malt flavor with a heavy nutty bittersweet and small bourbon alcohol bite finish of long duration. Full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is an improved standout beer.

Small pour at the Jackie O’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza. Black pour with a huge tan head. Malty and chocolatey aroma with bourbon and nuts. Malty and chocolatey flavor with nuts and a bit of bourbon before a semi-tart finish.

Poured on draft. It’s inky black with a thick head of tan foam. Surprising that it has any head at all. The aroma is nutty, chocolaty, bitter coffee, leather. Taste has a nice mellow nutty note that sits on top of the bourbon and chocolate. Really tasty stuff.
