Draft (from notes). Pours a deep amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor had caramel malts, citrus and herbal hops with perhaps a bit of pine and a toasted malt backbone. Pretty decent and hid the 10% pretty well.

Growler shared by brew3crew. Poured hazy dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus & toasted malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations were met with another very good brew.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a murky brown-red color with a medium khaki head that burns away steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops and sweet malt in the nose. Rather full-bodied with a rich malty character and notes of grain, herbal hops and citrus. The finish is hoppy with a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at Jackie Os 6th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/3/11. Clear brown pour with a medium tan head. Citrusy, piney and earthy hop nose with amber malt. Malty flavor with caramel character before the grapefruit, piney and grassy hops show up. Finish is crisp and citrusy.

Poured on draft into a sampler glass. Appearance is a dark amber with a beige head. Aromas of dark fruits and a touch of molasses stick out. Taste is fruity and sweet. Nice, smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation and a long, sweet finish.

This poured a murky reddish color with a beige head. Aroma was nice citrusy and herbal hops, with lots of diacetyl butter notes. flavor was a mix between butter and hops, semi hard to drink.
